The Studies for Rate of Carriers be Ascribed to Salmonella Groups against Korean Cattles

Abstract
|
|
|
An experiment was conducted to salmonella group isolated from the rectal contants of 497 and mesenteric lymphnodes of 505 Korean cattles slaughtered it abattoirs of Seoul. The result obtained are summarized as follows;
1. Forty-eight strains of salmonella group were isolated from 1,002 total specimens of Korean cattle, it was 4.7%.
2. In 48 strains of Salmonella group, 31 cases were isolated from 497 rectal contents (6.2%), 17 cases were isolated from 505 mesenteric lymphnodes of Korean cattle (3.4%) above in both results, highest isolated rate was shown in rectal contents.
3. In order to serological analysis the 48 strains of salmonella group isolated from Korean cattles, were classified into 5 groups; in these results, twenty-one were D-group, thirteen were E-group, seven were B-group, six were C₁-group and one belonged to C₁-group.
